Job Description
Responsible for the entire restaurant operation including training of service staff, the organization and cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant. Provides high service standards that assure residents, guests, and family members’ satisfaction including room trays and special events. Meets all company policies and procedures.
Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals correctly and efficiently using exceptional customer service techniques.
Trains, directs and schedule food servers.

Ability to provide written and verbal performance evaluations.

Recognize and greets all residents by name.
*
Handles full table section with all other duties and assignments
*
Sets up tables, buses, and resets tables to company standards.
*
Directs and assists in the flow of the restaurant during peak dining times.

Communicates clearly with kitchen staff to meet resident requests
*
Schedules staff within budgeted departmental guidelines.
*
Recognizes performance issues and provides staff corrective solutions.
*
Ensures that all restaurant server side-work assignments are performed correctly and in a timely manner.
*
Communicates with 1) persons who are aging or who might have dementia, 2) resident’s family members, 3) co-workers, and 4) supervisors in a courteous and professional manner.

Maintains company standard related to attendance and punctuality.
*
Presents for work in a professional manner and maintains company standard related to personal appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, communicate effectively in English to receive food or drink orders and give responses.
- Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism.
- Proven ability to understand and demonstrate responsible behavior.
