Introduction

Experienced CT Tech needed for FSED PRN coverage (locations available include Normandy Ave, 103 rd Street and Middleburg)

CT tech must also be able to perform routine Radiology as well as CT

Minimum availability is 3 shifts per month (shift/call)

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing

radiation and the principles of Radiologic and Computerized Axial Tomography for the purpose of

detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce and process images. Assists in

the daily operation of the CT and Radiology department. Establishes and maintains a good

rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties:

The CT Technologist will work to support and protect the rights of each patient served, treats each

patient with dignity and care, and maintains patient confidentiality/privacy.

Demonstrates commitment to patient safety initiatives including patient falls, medication safety,

National Patient Safety Goals, critical value reporting, and administration of blood products.

Provides appropriate patient/family education, per department and hospital policy and

procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Certificate
