Job Purpose

This position’s major responsibilities include contributing to AHMs goals of increasing customer satisfaction and profitability by utilizing advanced analytical techniques to identify areas of opportunity for increased parts sales and detection of issues that are affecting the ownership image and experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Big Data Analytics - Mine and analyze all big data database elements (such as telematics, warranty, repair order, general parts, collision and accessory sales, etc) to optimize marketing techniques, parts profits, vehicle quality, and business decision making strategies. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Predictive Analytics - Predictive Analytics for optimizing customer experiences, revenue generation, target marketing, and other business outcomes. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Special Projects - Support PST Business Unit as needed to support analytics requests

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• B.A. or B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Statistics or Related Experience
• 5-8 years experience in statistical analytics and/or market research 
• Experience required in the areas of data presentation, data management, and process improvement 
• Experience With Analytics Tools Such As SAS, SQL, Python, Business Objects, Power BI, Or Other Similar Analytics Tools
• Strong analytics/complex problem solving skills 
• Moderate Technical knowledge of Honda/Acura automobiles, 
• AHM PC supported software familiarity (Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects, Excel) 
• Strong Powerpoint and communication skills are a must
