Job Description: What You’ll Do
Responsible for leading and managing teams that assess, oversee, develop and enhance credit management strategies and/or loss forecasts.
Responsible for the effective challenge and assessment of Credit Card strategies across the credit life cycle including acquisitions and portfolio, pricing, collections and marketing. Provide the ongoing assessment of the performance of afore-mentioned strategies relative to business case expectations and/or remediate under-performance. Identifies emerging risks from external (macro, regulatory) as well as internal credit performance and generates insights that can influence credit strategy changes, credit risk appetite and risk decision making. Provides second line leadership in Governance credit sub-committees as a voting member governing credit decisions and performance updates.
Leads and guides decision making on critical business components such as credit losses, receivables, and profit. Identifies risk, growth and business opportunities and leads the team to execute on them to support the business strategy.
Creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization.
How You’ll Do It
Leads the development of short and long-term plans for Credit teams, aligning initiatives to drive business results.
Ensures effective processes and systems are in place to achieve results and people development.
Addresses escalated concerns and ensure resolution to address root cause.
Creates a culture of continuous improvement for both business outcomes and work processes. Influences organizational culture and promotes "change" to enhance decision making processes.
Coaches and develops technical, managerial and leadership skills of direct reports. Be a role model for leadership behaviors.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelors in Mathematics, Social Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related
8+ years experience in analytics, consulting, financial services or related.
Bonus Points If You Have
10+ years experience in analytics, consulting, financial services or related.

Compensation: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $154,500.00 to $234,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
