Overview Why We Need Your Talents: This position is responsible for the successful planning and implementation of all Maryland Live events & promotions, invitational promotional programs and offers, advertising and sponsorships. Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact: Responsible for data-driven decision-making regarding advertising efforts for Special Events, Promotions, Entertainment, and Food & Beverage. Organizes all marketing efforts for Food & Beverage and Entertainment to drive retail revenues, with on-site activations, festivals, and other events as assigned. Effectively communicate, measure, and report the effectiveness of each program. Assist in the development of the property's annual strategic advertising and media plan across mediums including but not limited to traditional, print, broadcast, display, paid search, social media, SEO and SEM. Oversee media buys across all channels, challenging your peers and outside agencies to test new ideas and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Be a business leader in the development of concepts for advertising and promotional campaigns for Live! Casino and Hotel. Manage the budget by tracking expenditures, accruals, reporting, forecast, and invoicing. Partnering with our Financial, Business, and Analysis team(s) to identify trends and opportunities, brand tracking and research, and performance reporting. Meet with external account executives regarding advertising opportunities. Monitor and adjust performance based on local competition. Build relationships and meet with other department directors and managers as necessary. Plan, evaluate, and execute. Manage staff development, including accountability, training, and performance evaluation. Coach and mentor fellow team members. Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in business administration, advertising, marketing, communications or related field preferred or equivalent work experience. At least five years of experience in the casino, entertainment/hospitality or consumer retail industry Physical Requirements: Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. A broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule. Ability to work in an environment where smoking is allowed. Ability to be exposed to alcohol, smoke, bright lights, and noise. Ability to walk up and down stairs to the Casino floor.
