Position: Director, Quality & Risk (Nursing Degree Required)

We are currently seeking a Director of Quality & Risk with a nursing degree to join our client's Mayfield, KY team.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Quality & Risk, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality and risk management for our client. This includes developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, managing risk assessment and mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our clients to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care provided by our healthcare clients
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address any issues
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality and risk management practices across all departments
- Train and educate staff on quality and risk management best practices
- Serve as a resource for staff and provide guidance on quality and risk management issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to quality and risk management
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on quality and risk management initiatives and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Current and active nursing license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality and risk management in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to quality and risk management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and motivate a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
