What You’ll Do:

As an Electrical Design Engineer – Water Treatment, you’ll have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement electrical systems that support the safe and efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Designing power distribution, motor control, lighting, and automation systems for water treatment facilities.
• Developing electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring plans to support construction and operations.
• Conducting load calculations, short circuit analysis, and arc flash studies to ensure system safety and efficiency.
• Selecting and specifying electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, and VFDs for optimal plant performance.
• Collaborating with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall facility designs.
• Ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other industry standards in all designs.
• Supporting construction teams by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site inspections.

About You:

• Professional Engineer (PE)
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment projects
• Proficiency in Revit, SKM Power Tools, ETAP
• Knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution, motor controls, SCADA systems, and instrumentation
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and IEEE codes and standards
