We are looking for a qualified FSQA Technician to join our client’s team in Des Moines, WA. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our client’s perishable products meet all regulatory requirements and company standards. This position will have you monitoring and verifying that all aspects of the production process comply with food safety and quality standards. This is a Direct-Hire position.

Compensation: $20 - $25/hr, DOE

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 2 pm - 11 pm

Location: Des Moines, WA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the production floor to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

• Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

• Monitor and document critical control points (CCPs) in the production process.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans.

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as required.

• Investigate and document any deviations from quality standards, and implement corrective actions.

• Train production staff on food safety and quality procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.

• Collaborate with production and management teams to continuously improve food safety and quality processes.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Be able to work in a cold environment (refrigerated spaces)

• Be able to pass a drug screen

• Be able to pass a background check
