Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Production Stock Associate to join our team for the season. This position will involve ensuring full carts of product are called to the retail store from the distribution center, assisting with stock replenishment, and ensuring high-quality displays. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team, while adhering to safety protocols.
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN
Hours: 40+ hours per week (Evenings and weekends required)
Duration: Immediate Start, Seasonal position, ending June 1st- mid June possible
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Inspect annuals displays for remaining units and product quality, completing the replenishment checklist on time.
- Call for product from the distribution center (DC) based on the replenishment checklist.
- Coordinate with Retail Stock Associates to ensure that carts are parked in the correct display locations.
- Replenish stock on the sales floor as necessary and pull defective or expired items from shelves.
- Pack defective items or overstock and arrange for return shipments to the greenhouse.
- Answer customer and sales associate inquiries regarding available stock and direct customers to sales associates for detailed product information.
- Place special orders from the GHP DC for customers when necessary.
- Use inventory control software to log product information.
- Assist in preventing theft and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols in the stockroom and Greenhouse, especially when lifting and moving heavy items.
- Communicate issues or problems promptly to the inventory manager or store manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a stockroom and greenhouse environment.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the range of company products is preferred.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret internal operations paperwork.
Physical Requirements: - This position requires constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing.
- Frequent standing and lifting of at least 50 lbs.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Additional Requirements: - Candidates must be 18 years or older.
- Candidates will need to successfully complete a background check and drug test prior to starting the position.
