How you will make an impact: 

As a Health Information Specialist, you will make a meaningful impact by supporting resident care through the development and maintenance of high-quality Health Information Systems. By consistently promoting the mission, image, and values of Lutheran Life Communities, the Health Information Specialist will contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion. Through professional and ethical work practices, the Health Information Specialist will help enhance the quality of care provided to residents and ultimately support the organization's commitment to person-centered care.

Schedule Varies: This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday, daytime hours

What you will need: 

• Long term care experience is required
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in HIPPA training, Proficiency Microsoft Office, and managing medical records
