Job Purpose: Travis Body & Trailers, Inc is actively seeking a skilled Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician for a permanent, full-time position. We are conveniently located in NW Houston near the intersection of Highway 6 and FM 529. We are looking for a 'can-do' attitude with great leadership and mechanical inclination. Looking to start immediately!!
Required Skills: - Must have experience in repair with hydraulic ironworkers, brake presses, plasma cutters, cranes, welders (Lincoln & Miller) and lift trucks
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics
- Must be able to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
- Knowledge of all OSHA Standards i
- Must be able to identify components from parts breakdowns
- Must be able to troubleshoot power transmission components, bearings, belts, cams, etc.
- Must be able to read and understand schematics and do basic calculations to specify components
- Ability to use electrical troubleshooting tools to include a multimeter, amp meter, etc.
- Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components
- Welding experience preferred, but not required
- CNC Plasma experience preferred, but not required
- Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics preferred, but not required
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance team's daily activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work well with others is a must
- This is a lean manufacturing environment where all employees have a broad range of responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Must have valid/unexpired TX DL and clean MVR
Essential Physical Requirements: - Regularly standing, stopping, kneeling and crouching
- Regularly bending and turning at waist
- Regularly pulling, pushing, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Regularly climbing ladder and use of scissor lift
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions

Required Work Hours and Schedules: - Monday thru Friday, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm (hours to be determined upon hire)
- Occasional overtime in the evenings and/or Saturday work
