Contract: W2, Fall and Holiday Season Project
Contract Dates: Nov 18 2024-Jan 17 2025
Location: New York, NY 10038, United States (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $35-$40/hour doe
Brief Summary:
As a Technical Designer, you will support the seasonal design planning for Fall and Holiday collections. This individual contributor role involves hands-on work with garments, executing fit and comfort requirements to meet design standards. The project requires experience in technical design for intimates or apparel and the ability to work onsite five days per week.

Technical Designer role:
• Will have ownership of the first proto fittings. This is a BIG responsibility.
• Prepping samples
• Fitting samples
• Writing fit comment
• Lead the fittings
• Communicating with overseas vendors, sharing comments, asking if they have any questions. Own responding to them and getting back to them.
• Write detailed fit comments.
• Work independently
• Must be able to take the work and run with it.
• Will interact with design partners.
• Lots of deadlines so
• Must be Self-led and independent.
• Able to ask questions when they are unsure of something to prevent any issues down the line.
• Will take lots of notes working with design partners and sending fitting information over
• Candidates will work on different teams.
• Interacting directly with design partners.
