Project Management

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects.
• Assist with business planning, including cost/benefit analysis of programs and objectives.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project goals, scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management, as needed, challenges related to projects, their deliverables and timelines.
• Manage the relationship with each entity and other relevant stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks to the project and all related parties.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Meet with appropriate entity owners, staff and agents to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
• Delegate project tasks as appropriate and in consultation with K?nea Ola Directors and KMR leadership.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of goals.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with appropriate entity owners and other staff members.
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document project status, needs and objectives.
• Potentially oversee the maintenance of one or more designated management units at the Kealakekua Mountain Reserve.
