The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and driven Lateral Associate - Labor & Employment to join a distinguished team in New York, NY. This position focuses primarily on employer-side litigation, with opportunities to provide advisory services and conduct investigations. Your expertise will be vital in resolving complex legal matters and delivering exceptional results.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in class and representative actions, including wage and hour disputes and discrimination cases.
• Advise clients on labor and employment matters and conduct investigations as needed.
• Draft and execute litigation strategies, including drafting motions and briefs.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide top-tier legal services.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: Law school graduate from 2016-2020 with at least three years of experience at a peer law firm specializing in labor and employment law. Experience in class actions is highly preferred.
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Skills: Strong expertise in employer-side litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Additional Qualifications: Proven ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of labor and employment law, with a focus on class and representative actions.
• Strong litigation and advocacy skills, including strategic problem-solving.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for effective client engagement.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
