Position Title: Cutter Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience operating a Lectra cutting machine to join our Canvas department in Pewaukee, WI. In this role, you will serve as a backup for our current Lectra machine operator, assembling supply kits for home sewers and assisting in sewing tasks as needed. This position is vital to maintaining efficiency and quality in our manufacturing process. Apply now!

Cutter Operator Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Conduct regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and report issues promptly
- Organize and manage inventory of raw materials and finished components to support production needs
- Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements and production updates
- Assist in training team members on processes and machine operation
- Cross-train in other departmental tasks to provide additional support during peak periods
- Document work processes, updates or any deviations for tracking and quality assurance purposes

Requirements for Cutter Operator:
- Experience operating Lectra cutting machines
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting; programming knowledge is not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Sewing experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and handle materials for extended periods
