Job Description

Tokio is building the next-gen social trading platform that fuses short-form video culture with tokenization. Our mission is to make every trend, meme, and cultural moment tradable from your phone—driving mainstream crypto adoption in a fun, frictionless way. Key Responsibilities: Mobile Interface Design : Create user-centric interfaces for iOS and Android, prioritizing clarity, consistency, and intuitive navigation. Prototyping & Wireframing : Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design mockups aligned with our product vision. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of designs. User Research & Testing : Conduct user interviews, A/B tests, and usability sessions; refine designs based on real feedback and data-driven insights. Design System Management : Establish and maintain a cohesive design language, style guides, and component libraries. Short-Form Video Design Insights : Bring an understanding of how top short-form video apps (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) design and evolve their user flows, engagement hooks, and UI/UX features. What We’re Looking For: Proven Mobile Design Experience : Demonstrated success in UX/UI design for mobile applications (iOS and Android). Social Media & Video App Expertise (Preferred) : Experience designing for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or any social media startup—ideally with short-form video components. Design Tools Mastery : Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Strong Portfolio : Showcasing end-to-end design process, problem-solving approach, and final visual designs—particularly highlighting social or content-rich apps. Web3 Knowledge (Plus) : Familiarity with blockchain or token-based systems is a bonus but not mandatory. Attention to Detail: Delivering pixel-perfect layouts and user-friendly flows. Collaboration & Communication : Ability to explain design rationale, gather feedback, and work effectively with developers. What We Offer: Competitive Rates : Commensurate with experience and scope of work.
