$18 - $22 per hour

• Collaborate with music instructors in Washington D.C., DC, US to develop engaging lesson plans for students.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment during music instruction sessions at Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC).
• Offer personalized assistance to students who need extra help in understanding musical concepts.
• Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of musical equipment and supplies at the facility.
• Work closely with LTYC instructors to establish an enriching and interactive educational atmosphere for students.

• Proven experience with one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, drums, etc.).
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both students and staff.
• Passion for music education and commitment to student success.
• Basic administrative skills and proficiency with standard office software.

Since its inception in 2004, LTYC has continuously expanded its programming, geographic outreach, and calendar, expanding stronger relationships among schools, students, families, and the community.

LTYC has been able to impact the lives of more than 160,000 students, ranging from grades K-12. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
