The Opportunity: The Matic Group of Companies is a progressive transport and logistics company with a diverse range of operations throughout Australia. Due to our continued and expected growth, we are seeking suitably licensed Pilot Operators to join our Resources Division in our Heavy Haulage division based in Bibra Lake. Reporting to the Heavy Haulage Supervisor, this position will assist and facilitate safe, controlled heavy vehicle movements from Perth to mine sites in the Pilbara region. The Pilot will be responsible for providing safe instruction and guidance to heavy vehicle drivers. Remote location driving and experience using tablet and scanner technologies is desirable. Successful applicants will have the ability to confidently work unassisted within remote locations with a strong commitment to adhering to procedures and safety. Full training will be provided by our experienced team. To be considered for this role, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Solid driving record Ability to work unassisted in remote locations Ability to work autonomously Pass pre-employment medical & D&A Screening Ability to understand and adhere to OH & S Procedures Attention to detail to assist with freight measurements and inspections Additional requirements for the roles will include: Hold a valid License - C Class WA Accredited Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence, or willing to acquire MSIC card A Copy of online Driver Fatigue Test (WA) National Police Clearance Comply with Drug & Alcohol screening Mine Site Inductions Be willing to complete an online Safety assessment before employment.
