Position Overview
The Printing Press Operator is responsible for feeding and operating our Offset, Lithographic Sheet-fed Printing Presses.
Responsibilities
• Performing on-press make readies, and set up and operation of printing presses
• Troubleshooting and making press adjustments as needed
• Communicating with and instructing the Printing Press Feeder
• Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job
• Maintaining press cleanliness
• Ensuring product conformance to specifications
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Quality conscious individual
• Good communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work
• Knowledge/experience in printing preferred - experience with Offset printing, and Lithographic Printing Presses a plus
