Job Description

A consulting firm is seeking a project geologist to support environmental site investigations and assessments. The role involves conducting site assessments, managing environmental investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Perform soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and data analysis
Oversee soil gas surveys and vapor intrusion assessments
Assist in developing and implementing remediation strategies
Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field
Three to five years of experience in environmental consulting, site assessments, or remediation projects
Knowledge of environmental fieldwork, data collection, and reporting
Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
