Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Workers in food manufacturing to join our team in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facility. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, particularly in food production and processing settings.

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and tools to comply with health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation practices are being followed.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for various surfaces, including heavy-duty machinery and food processing areas.
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of cleaning tools as needed for specific tasks.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required to move equipment or materials during the cleaning process.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and procedures followed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, food production
• Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to food processing environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
