The Satellite Warehouse Manager for Bunzl Processor Division will manage a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes and proposes methods of sustained productivity increases
Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse
Ensures safe working conditions including properly training employees on proper safety methods, assists Human Resources with the management of workers compensation claim
Audits various paperwork and postings for accuracy and compliance with appropriate local, state and federal laws, statutes and company policies
Effectively counsel and manage employees on attendance, performance and/or misconduct
Manage the AS400 system for the purpose of measuring the pick accuracy and performance of employees (cycle count, bin walk, etc)
Responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of all warehouse-related equipment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
1-3 Years experience in warehousing and supervising is required
Knowledge of local, state and federal OSHA safety regulations
Knowledge of location, state and federal DOT transportation regulations
Experience in forklift certification and inspection, hazmat certification, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
Must have strong leadership and organizations skills
Ability to work a flexible work schedule with a "hands-on" management style
