WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Engineer 3 - 3D Pipeline to join our dynamic CP&I team at Nike. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and maintaining the 3D pipelines and tools that drive our product design and innovation process. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of 3D graphics, animation, and visualization technologies, along with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in digital product creation.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area orequivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience in 3D pipeline development and tool creation, ideally in a product design or visualization enviornmentProficiency in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages. Strong understanding of 3D graphics principles, animation, visualization technologies, and real-time rendering. Experience with 3D software packages (Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Blender) and game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity). Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices. Familiarity with version control systems and software development best practices.Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for technical excellence. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.A passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of digital product creation.Experience working in the footwear or apparel industry is a plusExperience with games engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity is a plusWHO YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain efficient, robust, and scalable 3D pipelines that integrate seamlessly with our existing design and production workflows.Tool Development: Create custom tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, optimize processes, and empower designers and engineers to work more effectively.Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to 3D pipelines, tools, and data management.Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective 3D solutions.Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in 3D graphics and visualization, and explore new ways to leverage them for product innovation.Documentation: Develop clear and concise documentation for 3D pipelines, tools, and processes.Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members.WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Opportunity to shape the future of product innovation at a global brand.
