Position Summary:

As a Cost Accountant at Royal Oak Enterprises, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing accounting functions related to product inventory liabilities and labor costs. This position requires a keen eye for detail, financial acumen, and the ability to generate insightful reports for management. You will contribute to the monthly close process, maintain perpetual inventory, and conduct product line analyses, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

Monthly Close Support:

Contribute to the monthly close process.
Accurately enter monthly inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Inventory Management:

Maintain a perpetual inventory system for efficient tracking.
Manage the standard cost system to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Cost Monitoring:

Monitor the cost of labor by comparing overtime hours against staffing and production schedules.
Generate labor cost and shipment reports for management review.
Financial Analysis:

Conduct product line analysis, providing valuable insights for management decision-making.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field.
3+ years of relevant work experience in cost accounting and/or finance.
Skills:

Strong financial management skills.
Thoroughness in handling intricate financial data.
Effective project management capabilities.
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication proficiency.
Technical capacity in utilizing accounting and financial software.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 70,000.00 90,000.00 Per Year
