Summer 2025 - Finance Intern (Completions)  in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Partner with the finance team to assist in the monthly closing process, which includes journal entries and analysis of accounts
2. Assist with the preparation of management financial statements, designing financial reports and providing value added analysis
3. Actively develop and drive continuous improvement recommendations
4. Understand key business unit operating metrics/drivers and measure performance to established metrics
5. Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.

 

Additional Functions:

 

1. Enforce safety rules and procedures.
2. Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.
   
    

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor or masters degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related curriculum. Graduation date must be after on or after May 2025. For Summer 2025 Internships, we will accept Spring/Summer 2025 graduates, only if you have abeen accetped into a master's or PhD program for Fall 2025.
2. Knowledge and understanding of Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.
3. Possess strong communication and analytical skills.
4. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership initiative.
5. Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and it must be maintained up to and throughout the internship.

   • New graduate students should list their undergraduate GPA.
6. Must be able to work at least 40 Hours per week and be available for at least a 12 week internship.
7. Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
