This position reports to Supply Chain Manager - Drive ProductsYour role and responsibilities As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB\'s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business, Drive Products Division, Supply Chain Management function You will be mainly accountable for: *Collaborating with various teams to support ABB\'s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. *Learn Indirect Category Management skills for Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management, including supplier selection/qualification, pricing, contract negotiation, approved source list *You will perform detailed analysis and correct mismatched part data classification (MDF codes) by reviewing Prints, suppliers, part number, descriptions etc. *Work directly with Indirect suppliers to complete predefined spend contracts and support SCM policy compliance (no PO, no Pay, Approved Supplier List, competitive bidding) *Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. *Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills. *Familiarity and comfort using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) *Preferred skills: exposure to SAP, Power Business Intelligence (PBI) Ideally, the candidate would be available for part-time employment from January 2025 to April 2025, with the possibility of extending the role into the summer.Qualifications for the role Currently enrolled in a bachelor\'s or master\'s degree program in Supply...
