Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and minimum 9 years of relevant sales experience OR Associates Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant sales experience OR Bachelors Degree and minimum 5 years of sales experience Experience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applications Ability to professionally and technically represent ABB in front of customers from Management to Labor Proven ability to develop and maintain large and small customer accounts Proven in a matrix sales organization and ability to work autonomously Readiness to do what it takes to develop a customer base, including cold calls if necessary PC proficiency to include MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as CRM tools Foster Teamwork Analyze business and technical issues simultaneously Excellent communication skills (both speaking and listening to the customer) Operate with Integrity High Energy, Self-motivating Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Responsibilities You will drive the sales performance of General Industry, Robotics & Discrete Automation Industries, participating in sales strategy discussions, assigning goals and negotiating sales budgets and marketing plans You will be responsible for covering the non-Key Account Industrial Robotics customers in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey for ABB Robotics Division Territory sales and business development responsibility for the Robotics Divisions General Industry and Consumer Segment / Service Robotics businesses and ABB Robotics overall Market Share The overall responsibility is to generate and follow up on robot and robot systems leads and develop ABBs business with end customers and System Integrators for robotic products, systems, and services Develop and implement a plan to penetrate a target list of end customers in the territory Submit complete and accurate proposal and forecast information Utilize value-based selling techniques with customers and demonstrate ROI (Return on Investment) sales approach to key customers J-18808-Ljbffr ABB
