Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Drug & Alcohol Counselor Job Specialty: Behavioral Health - Clinical Social Worker Job Duration: Full-time, Permanent Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; occasional Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Preferred experience in the substance abuse field License: Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certifications: Compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations Must-Have: Compassion for and interest in working with vulnerable populations, and strong interpersonal communication skills Job Description: - Complete intake, admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork. - Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions. - Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions. - Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, related health issues, and steps to recovery. - Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises. - Report patient abuse, neglect, exploitation, and grievances. - Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans. - Identify and address clinical and case management needs. - Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and maintain proper licensure and certifications. - Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections. - Attend staff meetings. - Comply with local, state, and federal regulations. - Act in the best interests of the program and organization. - Participate in community relations activities. - Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Physical Requirements: - Sitting for long periods may be necessary while using the computer and talking on the phone. - No heavy lifting.
