We are looking for a talented and experienced Permanent Extruder to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. As a Permanent Extruder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Extruder, your main duties will include:
1. Operating and maintaining extrusion machinery, ensuring the continuous production of high-quality products.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and drawings to understand the product specifications.
3. Using mastercam software to create and modify CNC programs.
4. Measuring and inspecting finished products using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure they meet the required specifications.
5. Working with various materials, particularly aluminum, to produce parts and components.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of tooling strategies.
7. Identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
9. Collaborating with other team members and departments to improve processes and achieve production goals.
10. Providing technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Extruder position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using mastercam software and other CNC programming tools.
3. Experience in working with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in machining and working with aluminum.
5. Strong understanding of tooling strategies and their implementation.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field or a professional certification would be an advantage.
