Job Description

Location: Norfolk, VA
Shift: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Pay: $17.25/hr
Hours per Week: 40

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and restore filtration materials used in water treatment to ensure the water is purified and safe for use
• Prepare mobile filtration units for field use, including resin loading, equipment checks, and preparing test kits, meters, pumps, and other materials.
• Perform quality control checks on mobile filtration units before they are dispatched to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage and work with cleaning chemicals (such as sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and salt) during the water treatment process

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a forklift operator, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and basic safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
